UID batch request
The UID batch request is a search that enables enterprises and public authorities to automatically compare large volumes of enterprise data with the UID register in order to ensure it is up to date. The batch request ensures that the data held by enterprises and public authorities remains up to date.

Description
The UID batch request is designed to assist with the updating and quality assurance of business databases.
Customers send the UID team a file containing the enterprise details. The UID team supplements the data in an automated process by matching it with data from the UID register and returns the file.
As this is an automated matching process, we recommend that you check the updated file afterwards to ensure it is correct.

More information
How batch requests work
Data matching is based on an automated similarity search. The Jaro-Winkler values and the match type (e.g. "NameAddress") provide important information about the quality of the match. Results that are based on the address plus the name are more reliable.
We recommend that you check the matched UID entities for accuracy and contact us if anything is unclear.
Input file requirements and procedure
The transmission channel for the input file is agreed in advance with the UID team. For the batch request, an input file (see Downloads) containing the mandatory fields name, postal code (ZIP code), and city is required.
Automated UID matching is first carried out using the identifiers provided. If a valid identifier is available, the match is considered unique. If no identifiers are provided or if they are invalid, matching is performed based on the name and address. If this search does not produce a result, the system searches using the name and postal code/city, and finally using only the name.
